The art is a fusion between films and Mexican ethnic identity. It's inspired by the Mexican Otomi embroidery designs, Tenangos. It's characterized for vibrant, multicoloured and, sharp designs and shapes; Includes always floral and animal motifs, reflecting the time-honoured traditions and beliefs of the Otomi people.
This poster was used as the oficial image on all the film festivals where Mexico was present on 2013.
